Thank you for being our co-workers by means of prayer and giving.
Four years ago, Deb and I met a young man in Boston who was in need of dental work. Deb took him to a kind dentist who has helped many of our international friends with their dental needs. But on that day, four years ago, our friend found help, not only for his dental problems, but also for his soul. He became a Christian and followed the Lord in believer’s baptism. Soon it was time for him to return to China, just like so many of those to whom we minister. When Deb and I traveled to China last week, we prayed to see our friend again. This would be difficult since we no longer had current contact information. But several days ago, in answer prayer, we received an email from our friend. Not knowing we were in Beijing, he emailed me asking for help. He was surprised that we are in China, as we were surprised that he now lives in Beijing. Sunday, he, along with his wife, attended church with us. This is how or trip to China is going, God is leading us daily, and richly blessing in many interesting and meaningful ways.
On one of our morning walks, we came across several elderly gentlemen. This one was willing to be photographed with me. Should I grow a beard like his?
