Dear friends and supporters,

Thank you for being our co-workers by means of prayer and giving.

Thank You Father

Our fifth child (Linda) was married last Friday. This means that all five of our children are now married. Deb and I are very thankful to God for His love directed towards our family. All of our children desire to honor God with their lives, even though they have all plotted their own course, which has not always been their parents choice. Deb and I thank God that He has taught us to listen to our children and to learn from them. We tried to teach them to love God first, and they are teaching us just what that means in their world. It is a rich experience.

Recharge Refocus

Deb and I are on vacation in the Teton National Park in Wyoming. It was here, in this park, that I first began to wonder who God is. Looking up into the brilliant night sky, questions began to flood my soul, which eventually resulted in my salvation. Now, Deb and I return once a year to my Bethel to recharge and refocus.

The Spirit is Moving

Back in Boston and around the world the ministry of global-church planting continues. Young disciples are leading many aspects of the ministry in Boston, while more seasoned veterans do some Go To Meeting online conferencing studies.

Work on the ministry home continues, making it one awesome meeting place.

Worshiping Online

In September, the IBC will add a Saturday evening online Bible study for those members who no longer live in Boston. This study is a way to continue the discipleship process with those whom God has sent to us. Although not able to join our Sunday morning service, many will be able to join together around the Word of God by means of online conferencing. Please pray that this will go well and that Christians will be edified.

Multi-Ethnic Church Planting

Lord willing, either next Wednesday or the following Wednesday, the subject of this prayer letter will return to the absolute necessity of joining God in the building of a multi-ethnic church in Boston. The next installment of this series will discuss why it is biblically improper for a church to minister to only one ethnicity in a multi-ethnic city.

We love you,

Bill and Deb
